About us

Bryan and Katie Jesse are local NWA residents with a passion for small businesses and community. Katie taught special education for 13 years when she decided to try something new and pursue her passion for homes and got her real estate license. While thriving in this business was a lot of work it remains a career for Katie that has been very fullfilling. However, she quickly realized the need to wear many hats in order to be successful as a real estate agent.

Bryan, who was a high school administrator, soon after got the small business bug and also left education after 13 years serving in the public school system. Together they bought a plumbing business and commercial property that they worked tirelessly to modernize, streamline and optimize productivity. With a skilled staff and strategic business planning Katie and Bryan created a profitable business that they were able to sell.

This sale afforded them the opportunity to really dig into a rising need Katie and Bryan both saw in communities across the nation. All communities need skilled contractors, subcontractors and service oriented companies. Having owned a contracting company they understand and know the struggles that small businesses in this space are challenged with. Managing a successful business you have to wear so many hats, which can make the job exhausting, a small business may start to fail or never get off the ground. Parts of the job can get lost in the day to day running of your small business and you can begin to feel isolated from your work and struggle to know what you have to do to keep up with the competition.

Small Bay Solutions is the answer to these issues. Katie and Bryan created this small bay warehousing model to ensure that NWA does not lose the skilled contractors and service providers we need so desperately in this growing region. When a business model that supports these skilled workers is established, we create an opportunity for our trusted service providers and contractors to thrive. These thriving businesses can then look to expand and further support our growing communities.
